A Relaxation massage will focus on lighter pressure, flow, circulation and an overall relaxing experience allowing you to calm your mind and float off to dream land.

Restorative Motions offers Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage will have a greater focus on areas with tension and adhesions or injured/injury prone areas. You might not float off to dream land during this massage but you will be working out those pesky knots!

Restorative Motions offers Cupping Massage

Cupping

Cupping is an amazing tool that I use during most sessions and I do not charge extra for this service. It allows us to get more done in a shorter period of time.  It is very effective for myofascial release and helps greatly with circulation.

* Also, at time I do not currently practice pre-natal massage or take on Motor Vehicle Accident Claims. I also only have one massage bed which means I am unable to accommodate couples massages.

ME & MY SPACE

- THE BASICS

  • My name is Angie and I am an RMT!

  • I've worked out of my home  in Kings Heights, Airdrie for  15 + years.

  • I was only working part time, but  starting in 2025 I'll be transitioning towards a full time schedule, which means I am once again able to accept new clients!

  • My Massage Room/ Guest Washroom is located directly off my entrance so you don't have to walk through my house, and there is always an available parking spot in the driveway.

  • I LOVE dogs, and my current furry companion is named Chai! He is VERY fluffy, and although my house is very clean, if you have any serious allergies to animals, we may not be the right fit for you.

ME & MY SPACE -
IF YOU NEED TO KNOW MORE THE LONG DETAILED AND BORING

My name is Angie and I am a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).

I graduated from the Professional Institute of Massage Therapy in Calgary, in 2006, with an 1100 hour diploma. I have since completed the competency equivalency exam which allows me to meet the current industry standards.

What does being "Registered massage therapist" mean?  When a massage therapist is "registered" it mean they belong to an association. I belong to the NHPC which stands for The Natural Health Practitioners of Canada.

One of the criteria of belonging to an association is what they call continued competency. This means we need to complete a certain amount of continued education (which keeps our skills fresh), ethics courses, and have a current first aid certificate to meet our association standards. Belonging to an association in good standing allows accreditation with the insurance companies.

I have been practicing Massage Therapy steadily for the past 15 years part- time as I was occupied during the day with a full time day day job. I have recently decided to transition my massage practice from part time to full time, which means I am opening up my schedule to once again accept new clients!

My clinic space is home based in Kings Heights in Airdrie, AB. I have my massage room and guest washroom directly in my entrance dedicated to your massage experience so you don't need to walk through my house. Clients must be dog lovers! (or at the very least not allergic to the fur) as a furry munchkin named Chai also resides in the dwelling! While we are on the topic of allergies, as this is home based  business, anyone with significant or life threatening food allergies might benefit better in a clinic setting. I do generally use coconut oil. Please me a note if you have a coconut allergy. A home based environment allows allows for a slightly more casual experience which I enjoy it and has the benefits of being completely customizable to your liking, room temperature, bed temperature, music preferences, it all up to you! Its your time! There is never any overlapping and I generally leave large gaps in between appointments so you get your full time period and you don't have to rush out.

I genuinely love helping people feel better. I try to approach every session with a well thought out treatment plan and realistic goals, in an attempt to get the most out of your time and money. I have seen the benefits first hand of receiving regular Massage Therapy treatments and I recommend it to all. I love practicing Massage but I especially love the long lasting relationships that I have build with my regular clients and consider it a privilege be be their Massage Therapist and I am looking forward to meeting many more amazing people!
